As you can imagine, within a growing and thriving community, there are a plethora of ways to get involved through your local Community Centre and Community Association.
Oaklands Community Centre hosts a number of special events for the neighbourhood and helping hands are always welcome. Check out the links to the right for some ways to get involved, as a volunteer, employee or contributor to the local newsletter.
The Community Association spearheads a number of neighbourhood initiatives that can always use your input. Perhaps you're interested helping out with the Annual Celebration at the Centre. Or maybe you can spare a few hours a month to join the Board. The sky's the limit!
