Traffic & Land Use Committee
This committee facilitates the discussion of proposed traffic and land use changes within the Oaklands neighbourhood by ensuring that all proposals are presented to those members of the community who could be affected. The Committee ensures that the concerns are heard and that the proposed traffic or land use changes meet the goals of the official Oaklands Neighbourhood Plan. Parks Committee
This committee advocates for more and improved parks within the Oaklands neighbourhood. The 'Oaklands Greenways Project' is an active group dedicated to enhancing greenspace in the area. Recent projects include the new 'Oaklands Park' playground, the refurbishment of 'Oaklands Green' and pending revitilization of 'Ryan Street Greenway'.
