To support, promote and provide quality programs and projects and to facilitate community interaction which will contribute to the safety, health, and physical improvement of the Oaklands neighbourhood.

The Oaklands Community Association Board of Directors is comprised entirely of volunteers who live in the Oaklands neighbourhood. The election of officers takes place during the Association's Annual General Meeting, typically the second Thursday in March, 7:00pm at Oaklands Community Centre.
