Spring Drop In Programs

BEGINNERS BASKETBALL (10-12ys)  Bring a ball, a water bottle and a lot of energy down to the Oaklands School Gym and get ready to play some basketball. This session is suitable for the beginner ball player who wants to come out and play a simple non-competitive pick up game of basketball with friends.

Notes:                                                                                                                                                            *There will not be basketball on holidays, during Spring Break (March 14 & March 21st).              * On April 18th and May 16th Basketball will be run outside- weather permitting.


INTERMEDIATE BASKETBALL (13-17yrs)  This session is designed for the intermediate baller to come out and play a fun pick up game against other teens. So bring a ball, a water bottle and a lot fo energy down to the Oaklands School Gym and get ready to shoot some hoops.

PHAT FRIDAYS (10-12yrs)  Come hang with your friends on Fridays!  Sports themes, guest speakers, crafts, cooking, movies and board games are just a taste of what's to come.  Meet new faces and make new buddies that will last a lifetime.

PHAT FRIDAYS (13-17yrs)    This is an opportunity for older youth to come and meet new friends or enjoy the company of old ones. Focus will be on youth developed activities and planning, so YOU get to plan what you want to do!

BABYSITTER CERTIFICATION COURSE   Become a red cross certified babysitter and you'll earn extra money and help out parents in need.  Learn the roles and responsibilities of a babysitter, the ABC's of first aid and other skills.  Lunch is included!

BELLY DANCING   Engaging in dance is a great way for grandmas, mothers and daughters to practice traditions passed down for centuries.  Creative self expression through raks sharqi, folkloric and modern folkdance will be explored.  Bring your hip scarf and sense of adventure!

SOCCER CAMP (6-12yrs)   We're back once again for another summer! Come and play, bring a friend! This specialized soccer camp is intended to challenge players' skills to achieve a higher level of productivity in a fun and positive environment. Emphasis is based on basic skills and theory.
